Big worms catch big bass. There is simply nothing like having a big bass pick up your big worm and swim off while you set the hook.
The best thing about a big worm is not only does it catch big bass, but it also catches tons of fish.
I think that worm fishing is kinda a lost art anymore. People would prefer to fish other lures. However, a worm is still effective as it has ever been.
Back in the 90s, the majority of bass tournaments were actually won on a texas rig bass worm, it still has the same power, yet people don’t seem to throw it as much.
In my opinion the best big worms out there are the zoom ole monster and the zoom magnum trick worm.
These baits seem to get a large number of bites as well as big ones!

Nice video! What size rod were you using?
On the line, are you talking about fluorocarbon?
Thank you as always! You're my go to channel when I need quick, solid pointers before I head out. Also I love the consistency with your tips in the videos; you tend to say the same thing across your videos (offset over EWG, show em something different, etc). You give us the confidence we need!
I lose so many fish on the zoom ol monster and I have the hook exposed even on a Texas rig wirh a 5/0 hook they love it but I can’t set rhe hook unless the bassholes are Too small maybe?
intro was golden my man. love the content
Could you turn down the music, bro, I cannot hear you very well.
love the ol monster. Will be trying ur hook recommendation.
Need to remake this video without that damn music. Dear God it is driving me up the wall
The plastic worm. That’s all we used to fish with in late ‘60s -‘70s in southwest Miami, Florida.
You're from Ohio?! Sweet! I need tips fishing here in Ohio. I came over from tylersreelfishing😃

Nice vid ….I live I southern Illinois… We have lots and lots of coal mine strip pit…I've cought 4 of the last 5 five pounder off a ol monster June bug red ….they just can't help themselves…lol
Great vid…. But you need to put one more color in there. My last 3 big fish were on June bug red….
I was yelling at my fon thinkin you weren't gonna mention the hook you use! Glad you did!! Nice vid!!
I believe bass like them because it’s a big meal as opposed to eating several little meals
I’m in Ohio to brother, and I love using Ol’ Monster worms
If you have a habit of setting the hook to the side set it in the upward motion. Hooks them right in the top of the mouth any type of hook.
does the off set hook work even on thicker style worms
I catch big fish on a zoom ol monster YEAR ROUND down here in Mississippi great video
My favorite BIG worm! Have caught many pounds on a watermelon red Berkley Power Worm also.
Great video and tip on which hook to use.
Id rather have a double cheeseburger then a Jr. Burger lol. Especially to a bass when it gets hot and their metabolism is cranking. Ive caught some 4s and 5s on it in the last few days it works. Even a bunch smaller then the worm itself they flat out love the profile
Thanks for the info..Interesting about the hooks..Huummm..Great video
do you peg your weight?
We've caught crazy numbers of really big fish on guntersville using that exact worm!!! Fishing around the edges of isolated hydrilla mats is money!!!
Great Quality Video!!! Those were some fatties!!! Best of luck and tight lines!!!

People stop throwing these, stop reminding them lol… they work wonders in pressured water with all the rattle crankers lol

How do you fish your big worm?!
