BIG WINTER BASS – North Pine Dam Fishing

Winters in Southeast Queensland are the best time to target Australian Bass in our Dams. They School up in big numbers in deeper sections of the dams and once found readily take lures aggressively.
If you’re looking for a big PB Bass it’s the perfect time to have a go.

With a personal best Bass of only 44cm I was really keen to get a 50cm plus fish. So I grabbed the kayak and headed down to North Pine Dam to try my luck.
