Big PIKE Pickerel + CRAZY WINDSTORM + Load of White Perch = GOOD FISHING. I guess I like fishing for pickerel because I get a whole bunch that may well be pike. I guess same deal with the white perch. They like silvery smallmouths to me, they don’t normally jump but thrash, dig, and run like no other. If you every caught big ones I need not tell you. May have to try for big big bluegill one day. Crazy windstorm. Time for a Olde English 800, or two.

How would you service that bait caster if there were any issues do they still sell parts?
Tuna no crust
Sure beats Herring season
You should bring a few of those perch home for dinner. Wish I could find a consistent white perch spot here in southeastern Massachusetts! 🙁
Hi Jerry, That was a big Pickerel. That lake sure holds a lot of fish. When I was a kid, I had a boat on the lake behind our house. When a summer shower came in the afternoon, we tied up our boats under the bridge until the shower passed. Take care, Mickey
Loved the video Jerry, sorry you lost your lure, but you lost it the best way possible… I love pickerel!!!! You`re so right about white perch, the first time I caught one was maybe 40 years ago and I remember it like it was yesterday. The pond last time I checked was privately owned and the highway accessibility is not allowed either… what a bother. I`ve checked around for local white perch in the Boston ponds and was not successful but I fish for anything so I`m good and haven`t given up the search either. Peace and brother love to you and all.
Beautiful pickerel, Jerry. They sure can get big! I'm glad that you didn't have any rain mixed in with that wind. Mother Nature is always full of surprises. It was great seeing you out on the beach yesterday. I hope that you found some action.
Good sweet water trip!
