BIG Northern Pike Caught On SMALL TACKLE

We went on the search for some big bass and big pike an hour away from home, little did we know with local traffic and several tournaments the lake had been really pressured making fishing tough. Chris got on a tagged pike early , water temps we’re about 71 around the time he caught it. He caught on a wacky rig on 8lb test on a favorite white bird 6’8 medium light. The fish was revived and swam off strong . We than decided to try a ew lake where I got on a great crank bait bite.
