Hi Tyler, just some constructive criticism/suggestion. I like my fishing shorts/pants to have a pliers pocket or two something I can have a tool or two handy, especially on those days where you have to weed through a lot of smaller fish.

Kudos on your shorts endeavor Tyler. One of the problems with being older like me, is that you don't wear clothes out as quickly as you do when you're younger. I still help my son on the farm in Indiana and I wear shorts from April til October. I have a tremendous number of shorts presently, but when I need to update, I will surely consider your fine product!

Any recommendations on detergent to wash them with? I noticed that new fishing pants will typically have that "water" resistant feature but after one or two wash, they no longer are water resistant and start soaking in water.

I have plenty of sunshirts etc, but have been looking for shorts. I have been kayak fishing lately and love how stealthy it allows me to be when fishing shallower water. It is not only moving with a quiet Mirage drive but also with a low approaching profile. I believe bass with their eyes high on their bodies always see above the water. My current light-gray kayak is a big improvement but I am considering spray painting some light blue in spots on the bottom almost like the shirt and cap you wore in this video. Which brings me to my long-winded point. True fishing shorts would come in 2 colors. Horizontal blue camo for standup anglers, (in the same direction as your shirt). And, vertical blue camo for kayakers so when sitting the pattern is parallel to the water/kayak. Pants and/or convertible pants would help kayakers who get more sun.

Those look awesome! I usually wear hybrid board shorts, but these look like a huge upgrade with water resitantness…purchased!
Long UPF pants would be awesome at some point too.

Will the shorts stay water resistant even after washing many times? Also do you make multiple lengths? I like them on the shorter side.

Stopping in to let you know that I appreciate your channel and its helped me and my ten year old son with our bass fishing. We absolutely love it and watch all of you content. Even the older stuff.
