How To

Big Beautiful BASS on the Heart Tail Swimbait

Big beautiful bass hit the Yamamoto Heart Tail swimbait in the Florida Everglades. Having the right tackle is a big deal along with how to hold the rod and set the hook! This is one of my all time favorite ways to bass fish for big bass and it works all over the country or the world ,wherever bass live!

A true legend! I remember watching you Sundays back in the 80โ€™s / 90โ€™s on the Base Pro tournaments cranking down on the spinner bait w/ a pork tail ripping on those big boys!

  2. I miss these old times when Roland Martin would come on every weekend couldn't wait to go fishing with my dad life was simple ,, now all about paying bills and always to tired so tired can even take boat out. when I finally make it out there somewhere someday In a little fishing hole, but I'll probably be to tired to throw my line out there from the boat launch, maybe just sitting out there will be a start ๐ŸŸ

  3. Yep, here in east/central Florida, when I fish the Gambler Big EZ ( same 1/8th oz big Gambler hook & lure keeper seen here ), I always rely on good 'ole Berkely/Trilene Big Game mono in 20 lb test. The fish don't mind the line size at all, and I KNOW I can horse any giant bass out of the thickest cover.

  4. I wish more people would watch you. I believe fish can get spooked.. these ponds he fishes don't see you or me!! I have to fish where everyone else fishes Over fished and baits are being thrown incorrectly can play a big part on us landing a fish.

  5. Hey Roland I really like these videos I learn a lot and it has helped me catch fish! Could you help me out with some tournament tips? Iโ€™m trying to do better. I keep getting knocked out of making a check by ounces please help!
