Big Bass Splash on Sam Rayburn

I’m fishing the October Big Bass Splash and the lake is fishing a little tougher than it usually does.

Rayburn is in the middle of one of the worst turnovers that I’ve ever seen. After about 9 am it gets pretty tough.

There are lots of little schooling bass still up shallow but as far as the quality 4lb bass they’re a little harder to come by.

I started fishing on Thursday and just never could find them like i usually do in the fall.

I caught my money fish on a strike king 8XD right before the sun came up so I didn’t have the GoPro recordings.
