This video is two fishing trips due to it getting too HOT by 9 am, and not cool enough until like an hour before dark. I use weightless Texas rigged plastics to catch a few nice bass (two of which I believe are 3 pounds or more). I’ve been trying other lures and techniques but in this heat its clear this combination is tough to beat. For most catches I’m using Googan Baits Slim Shake Worm or a Dart. Twitch and drag, twitch and drag. Remember excessive heat makes largemouth lethargic much like cold does so when you are dealing with stubborn fish during hot weather give the weightless texas rig a shot. I’d also recommend a wacky rig or ned rig.
