Don’t take the fun out of fishing with your kids, or you might lose a great fishing partner and turn your kids off to a great outdoor sport. Kids just want to go have fun and catch some fish, whether they are 6″ bluegill or 6lb catfish, focus on kids having fun, once they’ve caught some fish, they may start being interested in catching bigger fish down the road.
