A tip for froging with no pads is you can bend the hooks out. So you can get a better hookup ratio. Btw love the videos

Color doesn't define strain of bass, just shows what kind of structure or water depth that fish has been staying near the most

Keep those chatterbait hooks sharp. I fish then year round. Those big hooks get dull quick. A basic file helps

Could you give some noob lure fishing tips? I actually just went out and spent a bit of money on some tackle. Got a bit of the stuff i see you using in your videos but definitely not used to like, using the stuff at all. i live right next to the mississippi, most people won't both using a lure in it in most parts but i've heard of some near by lakes and ponds that have bass.
If you don't mind telling me, how much was your baitcasting rod/reel all together? Im planning to get a new one since my birthday is coming up soon. Thanks!

Thanks gabriel, we are allowed to fish for bass when they are spawning, I don't think you are allowed to keep them though, I never keep them anyways though so I'm not even sure.

im from montreal, canada… i love bass fishing but the opening season only starts on juin 15 because in the zone i fish and all around Québec, we are not allowed to fish bass when they are in spawn time.
my question is that i heard you say that the bass started spawning… so are u allowed to fish bass in your state?
or is their only where i am that there is a law for not fishing bass till juin 15?
