I can’t believe the size of bass I caught in the river today! My game plan was to target striper, but when they wouldn’t show themselves, I tied on a big topwater and was shocked to see fish start crushing it instantly! In this video you seemed more of a husband and soon to be father working to bring home the bacon for your family rather than just some dude enjoying a great day of fishing.. Debi and I would like to share a few thoughts with you and your wife / partner Jay. Between winter coming on and Jay's "mother to be" condition this might be a great time for putting together some "home focused" or "educational" videos. A few examples …..
1). Create this years Christmas video. Putting up the tree. In search of the perfect gift for one of your family members, pets, etc.
2). Sharing your opinions on current fishing boats available. You'll soon be a family of three. What boats by brand and type or just basic specification would work best for a fishing family living on a lake? What should the draft be? How wide? How long? Flat vs. V bow? How much boat is needed and when does oversize become a negative for it's intended lake purpose?
3). We often get lost the way you identify different Bass species . Striper, Large mouth, Spotted, Small mouth. etc. You've already got some wonderful examples of all the types of Bass in your video library. What about stitching good examples of type together along with commentary on the markings, etc. that allow you to identify the fish?
4). An individual sharing of favorites. Top three from Cole. Top three from Jay. The fishing experience? Favorite lures? Rods? Favorite fish to have a meal of?
It's cold outside and Jay has a lot on her plate. Plate? Not sure that sounds right but …… . You don't have to hit the water to keep your fans interested. Your family, friends, ideas on your future, hopes for your channel are all of interest to us.
