In this video, I take you along for one of the wildest tournament days I’ve ever had. It started with rain, delays, and no pre-fishing. Then just 10 minutes into the day, I landed a 19.50” bass on a BizzBaits Buzzbait — but it was all downhill (and a little sideways) from there.

A few hours later, I smashed into a submerged stump and nearly ripped off my trolling motor. Five minutes into pedaling back… my steering cable broke, leaving me spinning in circles like a confused duck. With no motor and no steering, I had to paddle and pedal my way back to the ramp — but somehow, I still finished 9th out of 22 anglers.

This video is packed with laughs, lessons, and a little reminder that sometimes fishing is less about the fish, and more about the fight.
