BIG Bass at Birch Lake | Fishing & Paddling Adventures in Frontenac Park

I launch the canoe for another trip into Frontenac Provincial Park with my son, Ty, to paddle, camp, and fish at beautiful Birch Lake. Hang in to see Ty catch the biggest fish of his life when he reels in an impressive largemouth bass near the end of our trip.

This is the sixth video in a series called “Father & Son All-Season Fun” that consists of camping in Frontenac Park at least one night in every month for 12 months consecutively. This is a challenge put on by the Friends of Frontenac, a volunteer run organization that promotes getting out and exploring this incredible Southeastern Ontario backcountry park.

Join us this year as we camp, hike, paddle, fish, swim, cook, and test ourselves as we explore the beautiful, history-rich trails and lakes of Frontenac Park! Be prepared for the occasional dad joke and some father-and-son shenanigans.
