Big bass and catfish caught on one of the cleanest lakes we ever seen

Day one on our five-day trip. We head to Brookville Lake in Indiana for an exciting day of kayak fishing and bank fishing in search of largemouth bass and giant catfish. We spent the day covering water from our kayaks and fishing from shore, testing multiple baits and techniques to see what the fish wanted.

The action didn’t disappoint! We hooked into several quality largemouth bass and landed some impressive catfish using natural baits. From aggressive bass strikes to hard-pulling catfish runs, this Brookville Lake fishing adventure had a little bit of everything.
Throughout the trip, we focused on fishing productive shoreline structure, drop-offs, and likely feeding areas while switching between natural baits and artificial presentations. The variety of techniques helped us locate active fish and put some great catches in the kayak.
