Way to scramble the last 2 hours! Hate TM problems….I once dropped my motor guide and snapped the rivet that connects the shaft to the steering gear housing. I ran back and pulled boat out. Took top off and used an old steel stringer wire I found in boat to thread thru the holes. Little sloppy but it turned back and forth. 😁

Sorry u had trolling motor issues but it does happen , I do not like Minn Kota , plastic junk , cheap plastic and way too bulky
