I don't know … this can compromis you fishing line and weaken the line, don't you think? I never any issue with any freshly spool line flouro or mono
Please do a video on how you spool braid thanks 😊
Great tip!
Or ya can wait until you set the hook on a tree lol
Makes sense. I’m definitely going to give it a try. I just spooled up 17 lb floro on my Mach 2 and I felt like I might have put to much line on it . I’m Gona stretch it and see what happens. 👍
I need to do this with my braid to get a better wrap on my reel. Don’t know if the “stretch” would help braid out at all though…
I am going to try your tip next week. I am no scientist, but I thought I read or heard once that stretching fluorocarbon line removes the sensitivity that we look for in its qualities.
Been doing it for 50 yrs. Literally
Does this work with monofilament as well ?
But Flourcarbon doesn’t stretch 😂 I can’t believe people still believe that’s true. Very easy to test that theory just as you just did.
Good one
Great tip! Do you also do this on older line to get memory out of the line? I do and it helps.
