  1. I'd love to hear more about California techniques versus the rest of the country. How dropshot and swimbait fishing spread but also the different fisheries and baits, jigs on the delta, baby brush hogs or roboworms in the clear water reservoirs, japanese baits, swing heads, big worms, hand pours, spoons, where was it then, where is it now, real stuff. Like just a good explanation of the senko would be fascinating; I know the bic pen story but what about the on the water story? How did that bait dominate for so long? Does it still? You have a good perspective on fishing and I hope you keep growing and lean into the real.

  2. I'm not a big fan of the bandito bug myself. I'm sure that has to do with the fact they just haven't produced well for me in my local lakes and ponds. I typically seem to do better with zoom baby brush hogs, strike king ocho, reaction bites baits. I fish a lot of weightless rigs and typically do better than I do on a Texas or C-Rig. I think a lot of bait choices have to do with a person's personal preferences but more so their confidence and past experiences with certain baits. Another very informative video. Tight lines and keep ripping some lips bro!

  3. I just started watching bass tournaments this month. My first video I was Guntersville 2021. Your mental approach to fishing is the same as mine. I wish I had your talent to catch them though lol. You have made a life long fan sir. Semper Fi brother.

  4. Love your content Chris and so well presented. My favourite has to be your big glide / swimbait stuff but love it all – much respect keep rolling dude 👍

  5. Sorry dude don't care how much communist china Google squad/china co payed you bandito bug not the number one selling creature bait bro you got bad info, strikeking, missile, and reaction innovative,Google baits are for kids

  6. Great tool for covering water, getting a better idea of what is on the bottom, learning how to feel the difference between a retrieve too slow, just right, too fast, or if it’s in a fishes mouth. Super versatile. I’ll often take the rattle out of an old rattlin chunk and push it in the end so it gives a little noise for a pinch of extra juice 😉 Thank you for sharing your knowledge Chris, always enjoy your videos. Keep up the great work 💪💪

  7. Question. Is there a discernible difference between bandito bug and d-bomb, rage menace, or z-craw and others?
In other words the reaction bite would have been on any of the baits I mentioned above regardless of the minor differences?

Does it come down to “just what you like” versus the actual hunk of soft plastic in front of the bass?

Hope you understand where I’m going with my questions as my curiosity is piqued. Thanks and great vid.

Also aware of your sponsorship, so I hope that doesn’t muddy your reply—-if you reply. Thanks.
