In this Video Kayak Q takes his attempt to fish fresh water in hopes of landing Epic Peacock Bass in Miami Canals

When you hear the word bass, most think of sparkly boats, baitcasters and big tournament payouts. But for fisherman in South Florida, the peacock bass is the staple in the local freshwater systems. 1. Hey man long shot here but I'm taking my dad to Miami and South Florida in general he can't walk very far and it's his bucket list to catch a peacock.. how hard is it to find places that he can pull right up to like you are in this video?

  2. Sweet video man. Glad to see someone using some lures and not just live shiners. I live in Illinois and I’m flying down for a week in mid March. If you’re able to help me out I could really use some local insight on rental kayaks. Because traversing up and down the canal on foot would be pretty slow and limited in bank area, I was hoping someone rented kayaks on the miamami river canal or tiamiama or canal or something other than the rentals I’m finding on the coast. Is there anywhere that rents kayaks inland on the canals? Much thanks for any info you can provide.
