What is the best lure for bass fishing right now? Today I am fishing three Walmart lures to see which lure catches more bass. All of these lures came from my previous Walmart lure unboxing. I start out with the creature bait, but unfortunately I don’t catch anything but a snag. After this I switch to the weightless “fluke” (Creme Jerkbait). I catch my first bass of the day off the point near the downed tree. I continue fishing the weightless rig down the bank, and I hook into another largemouth bass. So far the weightless fluke is at 1 bass, with two bites. The creature bait is at zero. #fishing #realistic

Fluke to the rescue…bluebaby brush hog is my go to… currently have a super fluke tied on and I pulled in about 12 lb of lake grass at once the other day LOL..weedless right?.lol! Also had to go on a dock then a floating trampoline then onto a floating foam pad in which I got my expensive swim bait stuck in and barely rescued it haha…still trying my best for the big swimbait bite!

Fishing soft plastics weightless gives them a different movement through the water, which seems to emphasize the wounded fish aspect and results in more bites. Maybe. I'm not a scientist and wouldn't know what to do to prove that theory. Way too many variables. So, eff it and just go out and catch fish.
