Looks good, casts ok-ish. Mine was very overbraked, much like the one in this video. I have no idea if its dependable on unit. I could cast 4g lure without thumbimg while breaks were set to 0. Distance thrown was half of what I got with my other BFS reels
This reel looks like something closer to what i would use. My all rounder setups catch squid, whiting, flathead, pinkies/ snapper. Can do it all on 1 combo long as the snapper doesn't get to big 😂.
Looking forward to seeing what rod you pair it with and getting that chinook would be cool.

I knew you’d say “reel handy” because you’re a dad. I’m more a fan of stealthy gun metal or darker colours with the occasional coloured accent. I do however looooove iridescent soft plastics. They definitely catch more fish in my opinion haha. Not a bad reel though, apparently kastking you can’t go wrong for quality control.

Now time to get the Royale Legend rod to match it!
I have one word for that reel, starts in S and ends in EXY the only improvement would be orange accents!
