Best Day ever, Wading for big Bass!

Occasionally I’ll find a super super spot, full off big bass on every cast. I found this one deep in the Everglades on an old flooded road bed with a culvert under it,chock full of big bass! The 6″ 297 green pumpkin Senko does the trick again! Wading the shallow roadbed and casting into the deeper water by the culvert, really was the way to go!

  1. I stayed with a buddy in Florida for 1 month. On their big community lake I was bumped by gar and gators endlessly haha. This dude jumps off the boat and wades in the everglades lol. I think gators just have some type mutual respect for him so he gets a pass.

  2. Watched you for 30 years!…..always wanted to move to Florida, now at 54 , I get my wish, moving to Tampa this week!…..the best of saltwater and freshwater fishing……..son!!

  3. Roland Martin like the Old Timers like the late Hope Willard inventor of GAME TRACKER not afraid
of gators and what lurkers in the water. RIP Hope Willard and Tommy Long also a late very good saltwater captain.

  4. That was good ole hole you found, if you were fishing a tournament you'd have your days limit & just be working on trying to improve the weight. What a fun time it'd be either way. Love the videos Roland, keep on posting & I'll keep on watching (when I'm not fishing)

  5. I could watch R. Martin catch fish and that "He's pretty big… Wooo, ooo, this is fun son, this is what its all about… Wooo, Son, thats what its all about son" for days! Haha! Keep up the content production Roland!

  6. Roland, I been watching you for 30 years it seems, long as I been interest in fishing. You and ole' Bill Dance was my Saturday as a kid. Thanks for keep it going. You make it up to central Florida, ton of good spots on the St. Johns.

  7. Noticed you are using a screw on weight. I use braid with 20 mono leader. If I pass the leader through the weight, through the eye and then back through the weight and tie a uni knot in front of the weight, it locks the weight to the hook eye and it will not move. No need for tooth picks, bobber stoppers or screw on. Works for me.
