Im right handed and use a left hand reel so your definitely not alone
I have the 795sb…Do you think the 806 is stiff enough to throw citizen 6 and 7 ? Magdraft freestyle ? Thanks
Just picked up a Lamiglas XP 7'10" heavy mod/ fast action (1/2-3oz) swimbait rod from TW myself and paired it up with my kastking royale 2 200 for my first swimbait set up.
401 is way to big for that little of a rod. dobyns run lighter too you should be using a 201. 401 is way to heavy in weight and size for that rod.
I agree with the rod, the reel should be a Piscifun Alijos 👍
How light of an ubrella rig can this throw?
Do you feel the line thru is too much weight for your set up when you’re casting? Any feedback appreciated. Def thinking of picking up one of these now
I was debating between the Fury and the irod series of swimbait rods…ultimately, I went with the irod. I decided to get 2. 8’ heavy swimbait gen lll and the 8’6” xheavy mag gen lll. Paired up with a Okuma 364 and the Shimano Cardiff 301A. Line; 15-20lb test Izorline xxx copolymer. With these two combos, I can throw any bait from 3-10oz. Also, I am a huge fan of Savage Gear swimbaits!
Dobyns are great rods. A little lighter than the manufacturer rating, "in my opinion" but surprisingly strong. While swimbaiting for calico with my ultra mag I managed to land a 35lb yellowtail. Very impressed by the light stick .
I just ordered this rod 2 days ago, great review man,i have a Kastking Kapstan 300 im putting on it,i got it about a month back and havent used it yet
