Kayak is more stealthy for fishing docks. I follow behind boats all the time and pick off tons of bass.
I have been fishing out of kayaks for 25 years. I fish 1 day per week. In the last 2 trips I caught 10 citation size fish and 5 species. I specifically seek out no motor or trolling motor only. I leave the big lakes for the " I have a 2nd mortgage boat guys.
