Bass, Redfish & Speckled Trout?! Perdido River Was On Fire! ($20 Big Bass Challenge)
What started as a simple $20 Big Bass Challenge between my dad and me turned into a crazy fishing trip on the Perdido River!
We launched his boat with one goal in mind: catch the biggest bass and take home the $20 bragging rights. The bass bite was solid all day, but the surprises were even better. I caught an unexpected speckled trout on a jig, watched a bass swim toward my lure, and then had a redfish absolutely smash it before the bass could get there!
From largemouth bass to redfish and speckled trout, this trip had a little bit of everything. If you enjoy bass fishing, river fishing, fishing challenges, and unexpected catches, you’re going to love this one.
