Justin Lucas started out strong, taking a massive lead in the first period and never letting go of the No. 1 position on SCORETRACKER®. He finished the day with 98 pounds, 11 ounces on 25 scorable bass – nearly 20 pounds ahead of second place. However, second- and third-place pros Jacob Wheeler and Michael Neal made him work for it, as they came close to catching Lucas a few times. Meanwhile, the rest of the Top 10 anglers brought their best for the grand finale to the season.

Bass Pro Tour action resumes in January, but in the meantime, many of the anglers will be back at it this fall with the Starlink Team Series – starting with the Bass Pro Shops Patriot Cup Presented by B&W Trailer Hitches on Aug. 16-21.
