Cole Floyd came out swinging in the first period with 35 pounds, 15 ounces on 14 scorable bass; which was nearly enough to win the day. He maintained his lead and scouted new water for tomorrow’s Championship Round, only adding three more bass for a winning total of 44-7 on 17 scorable bass. Spencer Shuffield was hot on his trail and went catch-for-catch with him, at 17 scorable bass for a second-place total of 38-3.
Meanwhile, it was a tight race along the Lucas Oil Cut Line throughout the day. Ultimately, it was Banks Shaw in the coveted ninth-place position with 30-9 on 15 scorable bass, slightly more than 2 pounds ahead of 10th-place angler Dustin Smith’s 28-9 on 12 scorable bass.
Stage 5 action concludes tomorrow with the Top 10 anglers returning to Beaver Lake for the Championship Round on the MLFNOW! livestream at MajorLeagueFishing.com, the MyOutdoorTV (MOTV) app, and Rumble at 7:30 a.m. CT.

Wish the league would have marketed this event more. As a resident of nearby beaver lake, the FLW expo's of the past drew in a very healthy crowd. Would love to see that again.
