In what came down to one of the slimmest margins a Bass Pro Tour event has been won, Wesley Strader and Cole Floyd exchanged positions atop SCORETRACKER® in a nail-biter of a final 30 minutes that included Strader making one of the biggest moves of the week with a 5-pound, 8-ounce largemouth and a 1-12 a couple minutes later to take the lead.
Floyd responded with a clutch 1-11 about 12 minutes later to reclaim the No. 1 position that he’d previously held throughout much of the day to ultimately claim his first major career win with 56 pounds even on 24 scorable bass. Strader was just one scorable bass behind, a mere 14 ounces shy of the win, with 55-2 on 23 scorable bass.
