It was a two-horse race for the No. 1 spot on SCORETRACKER® as Ron Nelson and Bobby Lane remained neck-and-neck and comfortably ahead of the rest of the field. Ultimately, it was Nelson who earned the confidence boost that comes with winning the Knockout Round, posting 70 pounds, 14 ounces on 23 scorable bass with Lane close behind at 68-6. Meanwhile, tensions were high along the razor-thin Elimination Line which was set by Paul Marks Jr. with 40-13 on 15 scorable bass, a mere 13 ounces ahead of 10th place.
