  1. Yes. Those are very lame rules. Hopefully the young anglers will rather watch someone "fishing" on YouTube than these ufo flying millionaires. Hopefully they get what they deserve. Its our job to teach the youth the ethics of angling.

  2. I was a BASS member for 2+ decades. I should not have, but did tolerate the smallmouth "sonar" fishing. What a worthless viewer experience. Forward facing sonar has only compounded the issue. Watching an angler watching a small screen, on my large screen as ruined the viewer experianence. The bass fishing tours are essentially saying to their core viewers and sponsor spending pool, "LET THEM EAT CAKE."

  3. Randy I agree with 100%..FFS Makes no name fisherman heros…it's pure bullshit for guys that need it to compete…and nope didn't see it cause I stopped watching MLF is so corrupt I refuse to watch

  4. Dude he knew the rules and he broke them, or at least he should have. No matter how many times you say 'legalized cheating' it's allowed and everyone in these tournaments has access to it. The two things are unrelated.

  5. Well I agree that's a so called Grey area and a rule that should be removed because what if someone gets a leak or sheers a pin on the prop and needs to repair? I assume a penalty. Truth is if you ain't in the click on the pro side then one best be dang sure to know every rule and avoid any action that could cause someone to question. There is one pro I won't mention his name and I like his humor but he kinda surprised me with his snitching but besides that there is too much drama and crying on the pro tours it seems. I used to envy the pros most of them but now maybe 5 total nowadays that I even care to watch and follow their results. The world has definitely changed for the negative.

  6. Plenty of ways to flood your boat without getting out if you think about it. Know the rules of the game. Bend but dont break them. You could pull the livewell overflow tube and fill the boat with water via the livewells then reattach the tube and pump it out. Easy peasy. Guess he wasn't quite creative enough.

  7. It's kind of crazy how your weight from the 2 qualifying rounds carries over. But at the beginning of the knockout round you start off with no weight at all?

  8. Quit crying. Rule says don’t get out of the boat, he got out of the boat. All I have seen in your videos is you bitching or trying to sell a crank bait I can’t afford. Good bye.

  9. Im still tryin to figure out why had had to get out of the boat to pull the plug, every boat i ever had u lift the hatch and pulled the plug, so what am i missing, im not bagging on the guy, just dont understand, and i to think FFS should b banned, its not fishing anymore, FFS is for p.ssys, u dont like my opinion dont read it

  10. I call BS on this one Randy. You are comparing apples to oranges. Professional anglers know the rules, period. I follow your podcasts regularly, but you are wrong on this one, buddy. FFS is not illegal ( yet ) leaving the boat is. No need for discussion on this one sir!

  11. Rules are rules. If you don't like them don't play or start your own game. Oh and once again your spotlighting analogy is wrong. Nobody uses FFS in tournaments to SHOOT bass. You should have said 'use a drone to find a deer and tempt it with an ear of corn or carrot'.

  12. FFS isn’t going anywhere. Too much money in sponsorships, and adds etc. Years ago in archery, the traditional archers screamed about the new bows with their wheels and cables. Archery survived and now weathering a new storm with crossbows. I’m seventy-five and have seen a lot of changes in almost everything that’s fun to do. Stop letting this get your underwear in a bunch and enjoy fishing the way you want. It will work itself out. Still a fan of your expertise

  13. I have to agree with everything you said about this especially the electronics I am like you it's cheating to the next degree. Pretty soon they will have AI fishing for them just all kinds of wrong. I follow Scott Martin and he just got dinged for fishing in an area that was not posted or anything.

  14. I had a boat in the 80’s that was set up so I could pump water into the hull. I fished the Hudson River regularly and it had a lot of low bridges. I often pumped water into that boat to gain access to backwaters. Would/should it be legal? Those wake boats have ballast tanks so they sit lower in the water and make those big wakes. Ships use ballast tanks for stability. Maybe a ballast tank would make a bass boat more stable to fish out of in waves. Are they legal?
