Many feel that changing the way forward facing sonar is utilized is the only way to save professional bass fishing tournament viewers from walking away totally. Forward facing sonar technology has made professional bass fishing tournament on TV very boring to watch, and folks are turning away and tuning out.

Many viewers complain that professional bass fishing tournaments are boring to watch. The FFS sonar has left the programming basically a silent movie. The Bassmaster Classic has been around for over 50 years. The Bassmaster Classic is the premier fishing tournament in freshwater anywhere in the world. The 2026 Bassmaster Classic was historic in that Dylan Nutt won the 2026 Bassmaster Classic after qualifying through the Bassmaster Nation tournament series.
