Bass Fishing with the Jenko Rip Knocker Crankbait

In this winter fishing adventure, I set out for an afternoon fishing mission on a cold December day in my home state of Delaware. The high temperature of the day was 37 degrees, and it made for some tough conditions on the water as we hopped from pond to pond. Thankfully, I had my latest Mystery Tackle Box at my disposal, and inside i found a bait that would prove to be successful on this frigid day! Lipless crankbait fishing can be productive in the winter, so that is what I had in mind when I saw this bait in my mystery tackle box.

That bait was the Jenko Fishing Rip Knocker, a unique lipless crankbait with a “one knocker” rattle, as well as multiple BB rattles. I really liked the look of the transparent paint job on the rip knocker. I was also amazed by the action, which was unlike anything I have ever seen from a lipless crankbait. This Jenko Rip Knocker is definitely a fishing lure that I will keep in my lipless crankbait arsenal going forward!

  2. One and done! I always say ones better than none!! It's cold out now only the die hard fishermen go out and fish in this cold! Merry Christmas. O your reel squeals when you cast does it have those centrifugal type brakes? I know my old phantom reel did and I put a drop of oil or thin grease on a Q tip and just went around the metal part they hit on and it made it cast and be much smoother just a thin coat microscopic like nothing hardly at all will do the trick.
