They say that lures catch more anglers than fish. It’s certainly true. The big brands that we all know and love and that have been around for years, testing prototype after prototype to perfect a lure, investing so much time and money to bring the best lure to the shelves for the anglers, are always due the credit.
But when those fellas over in China see that something works, and they can make it and sell it for a fraction of the price, can you blame them, can you even blame the angler?
Bottom line is, they work. So if you don’t want to spend tonnes of money on expensive lures only to snag them on your first cast, then don’t. Buy the cheap lures. Use them. Catch with them. I certainly won’t shame you, because I’ll do it myself
