Bass Fishing With a Keitech Swimbait – How To Texas Rig a Swimbait

Today I’m Bass Fishing with a Keitech and I show how to Texas Rig a swimbait. I don’t fish with swim baits very often but after a day like this, my confidence has definitely gone up! I finally get that first bass on a swimbait! This particular Keitech Swimbait is an Easy Shiner. Not only do I catch bass on it, but also a gig aggressive crappie with a crazy black stripe down its back. I am fishing the swimbait near the bank with 14 lb test braid. If you want to change things up a bit, try bass fishing with a Keitech Swimbait, you can even Texas Rig it!

  1. Good video Alex. I just purchased these today and had to do some research on how to use them. Thanks man looks like Iโ€™ll be Texas rigging it, I think ๐Ÿค” I Texas rig every damn thing!! Keep it up brother

  2. Iโ€™ve fished Keitech for many years nowโ€”- I have better luck with the fat impact baits and even the skinny swing impacts over the shinersโ€”โ€”- Generally slow steady retrieve and often get hit shortly after it hits the water….

  3. That's one badass crappie with a badass mohawk!!! Omgggg dude you're by far my favorite youtuber. I felt that way when I caught a little hybrid striper out of the the river here in town. Blew me away that something that cool was in these waters. Anyways. Anytime I see a realistic video you get a click from me. Even if it's an old one. Any real fisherman has that bug right now in late april/may!!! Yuh feel mehhhh!! Not any lunkers yet but I'm fishinโœŠ๐Ÿ’ฏ

  4. Hey Alex hows it going? Paddletail swimbaits are my goal bait of 2019 to use to catch bass. I am using the kind with the ridges on them. I have some Bass Pro and some strike king brand. I have only used the white/pearl ones so far and nothing has hit them yet. I like those you have there. I have tried fishing them Texas rigged, with a swim bait jighead, swimbait jighead with the underspin, and EWG weighted. I figure like you I will probably get one on the Texas rig but I wanted to try the other ways too. I am going to stick with what i know and persevere until I succeed. Great video. I know it's one of your older ones but there's alot of good information here.

  5. I have 2 packs of these and man let me tell you I texas rig it and weigtless, and start landing em idk I think it's the color and the way its presentation in the water looks but them are some good swim baits I actually got a Male and a female on a bed back to back with these bad boys amd the female broke my lightweight pole
