In todays video I fish a lake that has smallmouth bass and try hard to catch a few but all I seem to find are small largemouth everywhere I go. Stay to the end where I do end up finding a few smallmouth out deep.
The main lure I used in this video is a roboworm on a drop shot, this is my go-to to get smallmouth bites and try locating fish. I did switch up towards the end to a googan baits drag and drop to try and be a little more natural which seemed to work better but still wasnt enough.
Some days on the water go like this and I didn’t know if i would upload this as its not the most entertaining but i thought the message behind it was enough to share. Even when you cant seem to figure the fish out the best thing to do is keep fishing. Eventually you will find that spot the fish are on, the bait they want to bite or just get lucky. As Jon B. always says, “Keep Fishing, Never Stop”.
