Bass Fishing Tournament on the MIGHTY Mississippi River(FROG Bite was ON!)
Day number one started out a little rough being it was a little chilly windy and a little bit of fog while we were staging for blast off. We had a pretty good plan going into it and just had to see if it was going to hold up or bust. We normally have good luck for one day out of two on this pool so hopefully we can change that this year. As you guys saw in the video it started out with a bang by putting a three and a half pounder in the well for the first fish. After that it was time to slowly pick away and put a limit in the boat. By the time we had left our first spot I believe we had three fish in the livewell. When we pulled up to our second spot we knew we could finish a limit in there because of the way that they were biting. In that case that is just what we did and then Alisha started culling fish soon after that. When we knew we had a decent limit in the boat we opted to skip our other spots that we found pre fishing and decided to just run some new water and see if we could come across any other areas that we may have over looked for day two of the tournament. At the very end we did find one spot where we caught a couple fish and missed a really nice one as well that we thought could help us on day two. We were sitting in the top five going into day two and just had to put it together to have a great tournament. Make sure you guys stay tuned for the day two video coming soon!
