Pro fisherman Tom Redington gives a Bass Fishing Tips/Techniques (Advanced) on a fishing knot that knot makes your bait more weedless and your lure snags less. With the tag end out of the way, your bait is more streamlined. Try the Trilene fishing knot instead of a palomar knot and your bass fishing lure will come through cover better and the bait will run better too. Try it with all types of jigs, like swim jigs, flipping/casting/finesse jigs, bladed jigs. Also good for finesse baits like small crankbaits, or any lure you’re bringing through weeds.
How to tie Trilene Knot is shown at the end of the video.
