Bass Fishing The Lower Salt River on FOOT

This episode of G-O-A-L Fishing is about exploring new places where we have never been. I have fished the Lower Salt River tons of times but I have not fished or hiked the whole stretch quite yet. I did a lot of hiking and exploring to find out the spots I really like and the areas I don’t like as much. I fished some of both in this episode. Hope you enjoy and as always remember to do a little exploring of your own and GET OUT AND LIVE.

I’m Jake and ever since I was a tiny kid I have been OBSESSED with fishing. The Goal of this channel is to take you along on my fishing adventures both good and bad and inspire you to “GET OUT AND LIVE “, Which is what the G-O-A-L Fishing stands for. Being outdoors and pursuing fish, however that looks, has always been fulfilling and life giving to me and I hope to share a little of that with you.

  1. The salt is full of grass. It dominates my time. About 80 of retrieve is grass. Great river for top water, much less veggies and more control. Also I recommend waiders if wading the water will give you rash under socks around ankles. Not fun.

  2. I'm always fishing by PIR (where the Salt and Gila meet) and love it, but I've always wanted to head over to the eastside and fish the Lower Salt. I guess I'm going to have to make the trip over there. Awesome video by the way.
