Bass Fishing Lake Camanche California – Spotted Bass were biting 2-26-25

I went to Lake Camanche, located in motherlode California, to try some bass fishing on 2-26-25 – I was able to land a few Spotted Bass on Keitech swimbaits and a largemouth on a ned rig. The bass might be starting to prespawn and this lake could take off in the next few weeks. Lake Camanche boat ramps are closed which will provide the bank angler some better opportunities to catch bass right now.
