Bass Fishing Lake Camanche California 06 24 2026

I had really high hopes for Lake Camanche, but it didn’t happen. With the Golden Mussel closure for about the past 18 months, I expected the lake to fish much bigger and better than it did. I managed to catch about 7 mixed Largemouth and Spots, with the largest at 17 inches and a few in the 10-12-inch range. It was a little bit too windy to stick to my original plan, but I did manage to cover a lot of water. Oh well, all part of paying your dues. Maybe next time will be better.
