BASS FISHING. Is This God’s Country??

Spur of the moment bass fishing session in some of the nicest country scenery in NSW. I headed out early all rigged up to fish for Mangrove Jacks, but the track to the spot had been fenced off, soooo frustrating!!!, so decided to head west to fish for some bass. Water levels are fairly low at the moment due to lack of rain, fishing was hard going but still managed to find a few bass. Really strange day with no hits early morning or while there was cloud cover, but more action in the middle of the day in bright sunny conditions?????
Let’s hope we get a few heavy down pours of rain soon to raise the river levels and fire up the bass.

  1. That was good for the soul and it looked like a nice stretch of river. Thanks for posting. It was nice viewing on a Sunday arvo. If you don’t mind me asking, what was the lure you were using. Cheers Ken
