Despite multiple sessions throughout March, the bass were hard to find.
I think the weather is certainly to blame, with alot of easterly winds churning up the sand and colouring the water beyond fishable conditions.
But with small windows and breaks in the weather, I managed to find a bass before March was over.
She fell to an Evo Bass Lance 160 just as the sun fell. This transition period between evening and night seems to be producing most of the bass to lures over the last couple weeks. Something to keep in the diary for next year.
