Bass Fishing in the Heat during a Major Feed

In this video I head back to the Stumpfield Rec Area but instead of going to the Stumpy side, I go to the other end where I have had some decent luck in the past. I’ve heard several other anglers who I have a ton of respect for ( Including Old Lady Angler ) talk about the Lunar effects on Bass Feeding times and the Major / Minor feed times associated with the moon and although I have blown it off in the past, I’ve decided to look into it a bit more based on other’s success. Well I don’t know if it was a coincidence that both of the last two times I was out and I got several bites in a short period of time it was because I was throwing the Spinner bait or if it was the fact that both times those bites came during a “Major Feed” time but I am really beginning to reconsider what times of day I get out to fish based on these predictions. Hey, who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks ?
If you’re interested the Spinner-Bait I was using on this day was a BlueGill pattern with a copper willow leaf blade and a smaller copper Colorado blade and was made by fellow GSKA member Russ Beeson of Beest Mode Baits, you can reach him on IG at beest_mode_baits. He makes some really high quality Spinner-Baits, Chatter-Baits and Jigs. Check him out.
It’s going to be extremely hot for the next several days here in NH so I’m not sure how much fishing I’ll be doing but thanks for coming along on this one and as always….. Peace.
