We’re out on Sycamore Lake after a snowstorm, ready for some exciting kayak fishing! Despite the cold weather fishing, we’re sharing some top fishing tips and showing off our winter lures in action. Enjoy these fishing videos from the great outdoors!

Ice might still be lining the roads, but the water was finally open — and you know that means it’s time to launch. ❄️🎣

In this video, I’m kayak bass fishing in the snow, proving that winter bass fishing can still produce when you’re willing to brave the cold. The roads were still covered, the air was freezing, but the ice was off the lake — and that’s all the invitation I needed.

I trusted my Old Town kayak to keep me safe and stable in cold conditions while targeting winter bass with my favorite jerkbait. When the water temps are low, a suspending jerkbait can be absolute money for cold water bass fishing. Slow cadence, long pauses, and staying patient made all the difference.

This video breaks it down in real conditions — no perfect weather.

Whether you’re into tournament kayak bass fishing, winter bass tactics, or just love getting on the water no matter the conditions, this one’s for you.
