Bass fishing in a freaking HOT TUB!!! Before today, the warmest water I had ever fished was in the mid-low 80s… Fishing with LakeForkGuy, we tackled a power plant lake in Texas with water temps that nearly reached 100 degrees!!! One would think boiling hot water would completely shut down the bass bite, but amazingly, that was not the case. However, these RIDICULOUS water temps yielded another challenge, an obstacle that made it nearly impossible for us to land these chunky bass…

This all me and my dad have fished multiple times and the water was boiling because the power plant uses it to cool it off
That place is a 30 min drive for me
Bro I know this is form the past but your my favorite you tuber and I’m going there tomorrow
That's the lake I go fishing at sometimes ! That's Fayetteville lake right ?
Lake fayette is a fun lake to fish but my fiancé had the same problem with the crankbaits
Location Fayette lake tx
Is that Lake Ray Hubbard? If your ever in the area again hit me up. I'll take you out on the boat.
what lake
and now you know why their are crocs in florida the power plant heats the waters up extremely
Nice fish
lfg gut hooked the fish and said oh he choked it…
If you are ever in southern or central iowa, let me know I got some good farm ponds!
Should really use ice fishing rods with ice fishing jigs for a challenge
.
No I just got back from fishing and when I cast and on my line my real fell apart
I caught a 10 pounder there
Yo I fish there
Sir big beard ande mono& maybe some mepps if they still make them
Power plant lakes are crazy. I fish Squaw Creek in north Texas and the fish start spawning in February. It's really weird to go out there when all other lakes are 50 degrees or colder and the water there will be 75-80 degrees.
u always set the hook towards peoples face… they need to check you
I like your videos
welcome to tx bro. you just needed to visit south tx. making my videos soon so hit me up if you ever come down to falcon lake
was it Calaveras lake?
every time i buy a lure I do these 2 things:
A) change the hooks, I go for bigger hooks
B) immediately afterwards I sharpen the hooks.
what is the best bait caster to get plan to get one this year'
You land these fish by not horsing them! You need to let them fight.
Question: Why do you not carry a net? I have landed plenty of fish that I wouldn't have because I carry a net. Is it a pride thing? Or can you not because of tournaments? If I can ever fish as a career or make enough money to fish local clubs on the weekend, I definitely plan on having a good net…
boiling water is 212 degrees……
Where is the poor cute dog at
super
Dang that's some warm water!!!!
are you growing any extra arms or fingers yet? 🙂
lake Fayette?
Hey hope u have a great day man
Was I the only one that heared him say don't land this fish😂
Bruh I've been there!!!!!!! Bass are stacked there
i cant imagine what that does to the water or the ecology of the area, i never fish in the city or near industrial zones, only thing i worry about is farm runoff
why do you alternate between right and left retrieve on your baitcasters?
I'm pretty sure this is Fayetteville lake
OMG is that lake fayette?
thats my home lake!!
anyone find the fact that 95 degree water would cause a fish kill?
as the temperature of a liquid increases the ability to dissolve a gas decreases. in other words the water would have to be oxygenated very well or the fish would die and they tipcally aren't active due to lack of oxygen in the water.
Is that a nuclear power plant near the rock wall you guys were fishing, at 7:45?
You could fish at night if it is, since the fish would glow in the dark! lol!
Those smells are probably from an agri-business area and as my dad would say,
that's God's country!
I've been there before
