Bass Fishing most used rig. It has probably caught more bass than any other fishing rig. I love fishing the Texas Rig. It can catch largemouth bass anytime and anywhere. This is the perfect rig for beginner bass fishing.

I wanna thank you Gene, I started my bass fishing journey learning from your channel. Years later, studying your videos I’ve caught several bass to be proud of, even brought my daughter along (8 at the time) once who caught a 4 lber on a spinner bait. Much is due to your lessons, thank you so much!
Away a bullet weight not ball?
i caught my first fish today 40 mins after watching this. thank you very much. hooked for life on fishing now
DAWGS ON TOP!
At my local fishery, I absolutely destroy them on that Vile Craw in that exact color you have on.
You’re killing me with the loss of camera focus
Pretty Koo Cuh
Blud doesn't even catch a fish
Great video thanks ! When using a Texas rig do you use braid , mono or fluorocarbon?
I just wanted to be comment 700! Good video though!
You have the face, voice, and knowledge of a professional. Y'all are wasting your time on YouTube. You should have your TV show.
Always talking about something else saying there not enough time to talk about it. .your Audience is here.. now ..
Talk about it.
Great content!!
does this plastic stuff work i been doing what you all say how the rig it up and been doing it for 4 month and have not caught a dam thing and i am begining to think this plastic stuff is garbage
"Hasn't quite committed?" Love that!
Please put timestamps in your description!
The slow rolling, out of focus background of the trees and the woods is the best.
Nobody uses tru-turn hooks ? I only use tru-turn and 10# Berkeley trilene ! Caught me a 9 1/2 pounder on a zebco 33 .
Does this work for crappie and smaller fish?
I think I have watched this video 20 time now trying to figure out why I just can never catch a fish using the texas rig, I have caught them plenty weightless just never with the bullet weight on there.
Not catching one while filming is just reality. Thanks for keeping it real. It’s called fishing…not catching. Great video! I caught my personal best, a 6 lb largemouth, this summer using a Texas rigged green pumpkin.
What a great, informative video even though you didn't catch a fish. I re-learned a lot.
Over the years I ended up pretty much just Texas rigging my worm but without a wait. In order to get it to cast good I buy a little bit thicker heavier plastic worm instead of a lighter one. This works so well along the bank and all kind of conditions, and the heavier worm will still allow your light fishing tackle to cast a pretty long ways using about a 6 lb test fluorocarbon . And for the spring spawn it is outstanding to do it like this., You can throw your worm a long way if you see fish nest Way off in the shallow and it allows you to drag and work your worm slow and easy without the weight wanting to stir up the dirt around the nest.. a lot of times during the spawn they will see it coming and hit it almost the same instant it hits the surface of the water. Really exciting stuff. Lol
Can you use split shots if you don’t have a bullet wait
Nice
"What I do with my worm" lol .
Great work but take that pups hat off #RollTide

once again great info.. Thank you.
How would you fish a lake full of thick hydrilla?
You need to get rid of the "Z" on the side of your cap. Looks as if you are supporter of Russia in the Ukrainian war.
Thank you sir for all of your videos.
I really needed this video today. I had a frustrating day fishing. I posted up by a bush in my kayak, a bass bit my senko in half twice, I switched to a smaller bait hoping to get the hook in it's mouth better and it didn't bite again. Switched back to a senko and still nothing. Went home empty handed.
It's actually reassuring to see a pro have a similar outcome.
Long live lake Okeechobee. Long live Florida
life is good
Do you have a video on knots and the easiest way of tying them?
"really bad quality" So is the focus on this video
Now that I retiring at 49
I'm going to get my bass fishing skills better
Thanks for sharing. I’ve been learning to fish here in the Midwest. A lot different than fishing on the Pacific Ocean.
9:15 is the most important part. COVER WATER and learn ALL TYPES of casts. They go hand in hand.
Fastest Knot tie I've ever seen! wow bro
Does it matter how you hold your mouth?
I think you need to work on learning how to focus your camera before you make any more videos.
Nice hat. GO DAWGS
My dad taught me how to fish
Texas!
Maybe BETTER planning before you start your video presentation. Just a thought!
Nice job. Well done.
