Bass Fishing Grand Slam on Table Rock Lake!

Today we’re exploring Table Rock Lake in Missouri. Its our first time in the state but it doesn’t take long to establish a pattern. Come along for a fun day on the water as we search the lake, figure out the bite, and each catch a grand slam! If you understand the principals behind how bass move, locating fish in a new lake shouldn’t take long. Table Rock proved to be very clear, loaded with bait, and has an amazing bass population.

We used a combination of baits to find consistent success today. We started off with a topwater (River2Sea Rover) and a glide bait (S Waver 168). We used this combination to draw fish up in the clear water so we could see them and figure out how they were positioning. It worked extremely well, showing us that fish were suspending on shallow cover and holding tight to chunk rock on mud banks. Once we’d established the pattern the swimbait (Keitech 4.3 and 3.8) became the main producers.

We hope you enjoyed spending a day on the water with us in the Midwest. Table Rock is an amazing fishery and we can’t wait to return! If you haven’t been following along we’re in the midst of a nationwide road trip and the videos to come get more and more in depth with information on locating fish and establishing patterns. Continue to follow along as we come to a lake near you!

Below is a breakdown of the baits and equipment used in the video.

  1. Looked like you started at Indian Point Boat Dock, am I right? I've been fishing Table Rock for 25 years, we stay at Stillwaters Resort on Indian Point. Glad you had a good day on the water. Joe from Wisconsin

  2. Matt fishing a tournament on Stockton this weekend , no practice. What’s the answer? Water is in upper 80s and it’ll probably be blue sky and in the 90s. Dog days of the summer. Appreciate your advice.

  3. This goes to show me that I have a lot to learn about table rock lake and bass fishing in general. But sometimes even the pros get skunked too. I live in St Louis, not extremely far, about 250 miles. I'd like to go there more often than I do. Nice video Matt. Great to see the whole family involved. Branson has something for everyone and fishing is a great Escape from the crowds. Plenty of restaurants. I hope things open back up soon. Be safe. From St Louis MO

  4. You guys looks like you're having an awesome trip question I'm planning to go to Table Rock in three weeks the end June do you think it would be worth it to book a guide or just rent a boat find them ourselves?

  5. Matt, so glad to see your come to Missouri/Arkansas to fish. Just an Hour east of Table Rock is Bull Shoals Lake. Unlike the Rock, Bull Shoals doesn't have near the homes or docks because the Corp can capture up to 45 Ft of water to the top of the Flood Gates. I have a 2 bedroom house just above Theodosia Marina. Hope you get a chance to fish the lake. Today the lake is 25 1/4 ft high due to all the rain the last 3 weeks or so. Good Luck on future adventures, I Luv your channel…it's the best.
