Bass Fishing Experiment Does Color Matter? This is a touchy subject in the bass fishing community. This topic can go either way depending on what fisherman you talk to. In my experience I don’t think color matters as much as presentation and action. I think color plays a big role in matching the bait however, I have switched up colors and still got bites. You will see that exact situation in this video. Depending what bait you are fishing as well having the exact color and or bait pattern can play a big role. I think there are also some standards that everyone can agree on color wise for water clarity. However nothing in Bass Fishing is written in stone that’s what I love about it. Trying to always figure it out and trying new things is what keeps it interesting. We often go back on what we have had success on in the past. Experience and bait colors we have confidence in is all that really matters. I don’t think there is any right or wrong to this it just depends what you think.

green grass red flake kills em here in Maine over 150 largemouths this season alone on it. Then Green with black, black and blue and scuppernog worked the best for me. I haven't gotten any on the demon craw yet.
