Quick family get away to Kaia Manzi, Bronkhorstspruit Dam allowed me some time to get on the water and check in with the local bass. The water was still extremely cold, and it doesnt seem like these fish have switched over into the super aggressive Pre Spawn mode. Another week of weather over 30 degrees Celsius should hopefully kick start the process, so the fish can move up.

Some fish were caught in 4m water, so they’re still holding deep waiting for the warmer weather.

Will see what is possible for the weekend of the 6th and 7th September.
