Try using a black jitterbug on a full moon after dark one evening. It works with a bright moon but full moons seem to be best. The silhouette of the black bait shows up well against the moonlight I suppose. The large mouth blow them up! The best part is, you get to see and hear the top water bite similar to your spook. I hope you try it, it has always worked for me.

@Bluegabe you gotta aim under the fish when bow fishing. The water creates an optical illusion that makes the fish look closer to the surface than they actually are. You may already know this but if not aim low enough to where it feels like you’re going to miss low by just an inch or so. You’ll drill every fish if you aim just under your target. The deeper the fish the lower you should aim.
The kid will remember this for the rest of his life and tell his kids

Bluegabe love you videos. You will get the camera thing figured out. I had a hard time bow fishing but I kept practicing and it all finally clicked one day. Maybe try a smaller led light. Hope y'all are safe with the hurricane coming. Bless you and your family
