During wind and raining conditions in the winter time, we often think the bass fishing will be terrible or not worth going out at all however, these fish actually prefer conditions like this! Unless it’s a storm, with mild rain and some wind the bass fishing can be great if you know what to look for. The early pre spawn movement has started and these fish are staging specifically at around 8-15 feet of water getting ready to push up shallow soon. This bite window is one of the best times to start throwing a medium or deep diving jerkbait to get these fish to react! Add some cloud cover and it’s time to start ripping lips!
